Back Yard Burgers in Lexington

Hadn't been to one of these in a long time. If you're just looking for a good burger it's a decent place to check out. Staff was very friendly.

Burger and onion rings delicious, my husbands chilli cheese fries were nothing more than fries with tomato past dumped on them. We ate inside...tile in ceiling needs replaced and there was dust caked in the light fixtures. The table are nice, the bench seats are in dire need of repair.

Restaurant is badly in need of repair. The front door hasn’t been painted in many years and is peeling, the outdoor lights are burned out (looks closed when dark), the carpet is old and worn and many pictures have been stolen or taken off the walls and not replaced. Also concerning...they are not posting their health department score card as required by law. The food was ok, clearly warmed up and served. What a shame, years ago this was a great place to eat. We will not return.

Good food but long wait times. Don't expect it to be as quick as a typical fast food restaurant.

First time I've been here, and was definitely a great place for a really good and fast burger. Only giving 4 stars because I haven't been there more than once to try other items. But the burger I had was very good.

My first experience here about a year ago wasn't very good, however I had a Groupon and decided to give it another try. I'm glad I did because the food is delicious and the new staff is significantly better than the workers I experienced last time. Would definitely recommend if you're in the mood for a good burger.

Asked for a Philly Burger (their monthly special) with a veggie burger patty. 3 employees confirmed that was doable after much discussing. Burger comes out...straight veggie burger, no Philly toppings (supposed to be grilled onions, mushrooms, green bell peppers). Asked them if they could put the toppings on. The woman working the counter was very nice...apologized, took back to the kitchen. Few minutes later the burger comes back out...a sad pile of watery mushrooms on it. Sent it back again and asked for a refund. They only refunded the burger (not the whole combo) bc we had munched on the fries waiting for the burger to be fixed. The co2 was also not working which they didn't mention until after order paid for so that meant we got a choice between weak tea or lemonade. The table had crumbs on it and the front floor was sticky... two staff members also got into a yelling match with f-bombs that we could hear from the kitchen. Avoid this location unless they get their stuff together.

I only give 4 stars for rubber stamp restaurants . Some of the best burgers going

Food is decent for a birger joint although the prices are a tad high.

My husband and I just ordered the blackjack combo...because we like burgers with pepperjack cheese. We get our food and notice one key ingredient was missing. .the cheese ..they fixed the problem by giving me 2 pieces of cheese in a cup n then the burger was raw in the middle .

Food was good. A little over priced. The inside of the place was pretty gross.

The burgers we're good and the fries were nicely seasoned. I had the A1 steak burger and it was satisfying. The restaurant is in need of an update. Old carpet, broken furniture and fixtures show little has been done to keep the business sharp and up to date. Looks completely out of place next to its posh Hamburg area neighbors. I hope they manage to hang on because the food is a good value and different enough from the other fast food chains to offer some variety.

The burgers are completely tasteless go somewhere for food honestly

Super awkward in there. The fries were soggy and tasted like they came out of a bag in the freezer. However, the burger was really meaty and satisfied my craving for a fire grilled burger. Not amazing, but definitely good.

Great service they even have a handsome severe... They bring the food to Friendly old school and they have the best chicken...pluse they hire so go in are just fill out an application...

The meal was okay. There was nothing wrong with it. I tried their new salt and vinegar fries. But for the price I paid I expected more than average fare, or at least above average portions.

Dirty, poorly maintained, No back yard taste. You would think a specialty burger place would give you fresh patted meat, not frozen patties.

Used to love this place, still not bad just in need of updating and better employment.

This place is never busy! The food is good, the employees are nice, and their lemonade is AMAZING! Seriously, you should try it!

Fast service good food

It's just not good anymore, and I used to love this place. The burger was a patty that seemed to have been frozen. Not real and fresh. The service wasn't very friendly. Nobody else was in there so the staff was hanging around a booth while I ate. It was just weird. I won't go back.

A favorite places to get a burger. They have a great selection on the menu and the quality is worth the little bit higher price. The drive-thru is covered so you won't get wet if it's raining.

Long lines while one cashier actually worked. The manager and another associate were on break and on the phone most of our 45 mins in the restaurant. The cashier was very friendly and worked hard. Food was good. 8 people walked out due to waiting.

Food is pretty delicious, however be prepaired to test your definition of fast food.

I've been to a handful of BYB and this one did not make the yum category. The burger was dry, bread stale. My favorite part has always been the sweet potatoe fries and they were all bad... Needless to say I will not be going to this one again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

The burgers are pretty good but the fries, waffle and seasoned ones are horrible. It is mainly a fast food joint.

Great food at a decent price. 5 of us went and it cost me $53 and change . Not bad considering the quality of food.

This location is really starting to show its age. The interior is the original from when it was built years ago and is most obvious in the restrooms. The restroom fixtures are old and dirty and the floor wasn't clean.The food was mediocre. My onion rings were alright, but the burgers were so cold the cheese wasn't even melted when we were served. The fries were the best out of all we ordered. They've also removed their all beef hot dogs from the menu, which is disappointing.My family used to look forward to eating here. Unfortunately this Back Yard Burgers just doesn't have the appeal it did a few years ago.

Very friendly, great tasting burger

Burger was good, just took 25 mins to get it. Fries taste like they were cooked in old oil.
